The Cardozo Law Review selects staff members according
to the two procedures explained below.

All students who fall within the top ten percent of their class at the end of their first year are invited to join the Law Review as 2L staff members. Offers are extended shortly after the Law School releases grades and class rankings.

Each year, several students who perform exceptionally well in the journal writing competition are invited to join the Law Review as 2L staff members. The writing competition takes place in May for September-entry and May AEP students, and in August for January AEP students, each year. Transfer, summer, and part-time students are eligible to participate in the competition as long as they have completed a minimum of 32 credits.
